Comment

Three affected brothers of Japanese descent were reported by Schajowicz and Bessone[1]. Tumors of pelvis (once), fibula (once) and femur (twice) were diagnosed at age 16-18. The 4 sibs of the brothers had not developed cancer. Both their mother and father had a large number of siblings. A sister of the mother died of breast cancer and the maternal father died of gastric cancer (no ages at diagnosis were mentioned).Could this have been a variant of Li-Fraumeni syndrome or possibly hereditary exostoses (gonadal mosaicism?)?
