Comment
Kavak et al[1] reported a 19-year-old man from consanguineous parents, who was diagnosed with mucosal and skin deposits of an amyloid-like homogeneous material, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (at the age of 11 years) and congenital unilateral auricular hypoplasia. The authors speculated whether or not this combination might represent a new syndrome. Based on the literature and their own experience, Schuster et al[2] suggested that the simultaneous occurrence of a lymphoma as well as ligneous conjunctivitis and juvenile colloid milium is most likely to be coincidental.
